I hear New York in spring is supposed to be quite lovely and as this is my first one, I am more than ready for it. I say bring on the pollen and subsequent allergies, this Texas gal is ready for some sun and blooms galore.

merry and bright

Christmas is a hop and a skip away. I am grateful for my wonderful family, friends and boyfriend this season and I hope I am able to retain a part of the Christmas spirit year-round.

As the temperature dips, my mind always wanders back to the long, lazy days of summer by the sea. Sun-soaked salty air, a turquoise blue sky... sounds like heaven.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder I suppose.
